A <br />Public Hearing was scheduled for January 16, 1978, <br />JOE BRAUN <br />3024 CASCO POINT ROAD <br />SUBDIVISION <br />(PRELIMINARY) <br />Commissioner Hurr moved. Commissioner Hassel #002 <br />seconded, a motion to recommend reappointment of Chairwoman McDonald <br />and Commissioner Hannah for another term as Planning <br />Commission members. <br />Motion - Ayes (5); Abstain (2); McDonald and Hannah <br />The motion passed. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MEMBER APPOINTMENTS <br />It was suggested extending the chairmanship to a <br />one year term rather than the present six months, <br />and beginning each term on the first of the year. <br />The Commission noted that Commissioner Hassel <br />will be the next in line for chairmanship. <br />Commissioner Hannah moved. Commissioner Wilson <br />seconded, a motion for Chairwoman McDonald to <br />continue her term as chairwoman for an additional <br />three months, for a total of nine months, until <br />the end of March 1978, and for Commissioner Hassel <br />to begin his term as chairman three months early, <br />for a total of nine months, beginning in April, 1978, <br />so that a new term for chairman would begin for a <br />one year term as of January 1, 1979. <br />Motion - Ayes (7); Nays (0), The motion passed. <br />The Commission felt some standards should be set <br />up as guidelines for people who are interested in <br />becoming Planning Commission members. <br />Commissioner Hurr moved. Commissioner Hassel seconded, <br />a motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:20 P.M. <br />Motion - Ayes (7); Nays (0). The motion passed.
