A Public Hearing was scheduled for January 16, 1978, JOE BRAUN 3024 CASCO POINT ROAD SUBDIVISION (PRELIMINARY) Commissioner Hurr moved. Commissioner Hassel #002 seconded, a motion to recommend reappointment of Chairwoman McDonald and Commissioner Hannah for another term as Planning Commission members. Motion - Ayes (5); Abstain (2); McDonald and Hannah The motion passed. PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBER APPOINTMENTS It was suggested extending the chairmanship to a one year term rather than the present six months, and beginning each term on the first of the year. The Commission noted that Commissioner Hassel will be the next in line for chairmanship. Commissioner Hannah moved. Commissioner Wilson seconded, a motion for Chairwoman McDonald to continue her term as chairwoman for an additional three months, for a total of nine months, until the end of March 1978, and for Commissioner Hassel to begin his term as chairman three months early, for a total of nine months, beginning in April, 1978, so that a new term for chairman would begin for a one year term as of January 1, 1979. Motion - Ayes (7); Nays (0), The motion passed. The Commission felt some standards should be set up as guidelines for people who are interested in becoming Planning Commission members. Commissioner Hurr moved. Commissioner Hassel seconded, a motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:20 P.M. Motion - Ayes (7); Nays (0). The motion passed.
