He felt that the municipal <br />parking lot to the north of his property would provide <br />adequate parking for his expanded operation. <br />Tlie Planning Commission reviewed tlie site plan and <br />building elevations. Tliey felt that proposal is con <br />sistent witli wliat in there now. Projxjsed front would <br />be masonry - no windows. <br />After some discussion, Ilaimali moved, Ilammerel seconded, <br />to recomend approval of the variance as submitted con <br />tingent on receiving a letter from Yorl; Realty to the <br />west indicating no objection. Also recommended approval <br />for parking requirement variance because they felt <br />adequate parking area would be provided in the municipal <br />parking lot to the rear of the proposed project. Aproval <br />was subject to property owner continuing the curbing along <br />County Road ^15 at his own expense. <br />The Planning Commission scheduled a public hearing for <br />?fonday, November 7, 1977, at 7:30 p.m. <br />Tlie Planning Commission went into work sessions on <br />#315 Fritz Gullickson, #316 JoArin Ilemmen, #318 Wayside <br />Kennels, #319 V/est Shore Lafayette Bay .Association, and <br />#321 Donald Doty. <br />Mr. Tim Adams and Bruce Kelley presented tlie proposal. <br />Proposal consists of 20 lots containing 2 acres located <br />soutli of County Road 6 and east of Long Lake. <br />The Planning Commission reviewed tlie sketch plat and <br />advised the developer as to the policies, standards, <br />procedures and requirements for platting. Special <br />attention was given to the subject of riparian rights. <br />TTie Comnission informed the developer that shoreline <br />outlets for use as lake access by the inland lots was <br />prohibited. Also informed the developer tliat lot width <br />requirement of 200 ft. was also minimum shoreline <br />requirement for riparian lots. <br />Mr. Adams informed the Commission tliat the lake would <br />be mainly used for cross countr>’’ skiing and that no <br />boats or snowmobiles would be allowed.
