Any specific changes requested by Ski Tonka <br />representative will be listed in forthcoming report. <br />STAFF - July 14, 1977 <br />Lee and Brent Primus met with the Zoning Administrator on July 13, 1977. <br />discussed proposed ordinance amendment. They were not too happy with any of <br />the regulations. They felt we were being to restrictive. They interpreted the <br />ordinance as a design to simplify citing of violations. It appeared they would <br />prefer striking out most of the regulatory measures. They will be meeting with <br />me again next week so we can write up some of their suggestions. <br />They requested deferring the issue until the Council meeting scheduled for <br />August 8, 1977. <br />STAFF - August 4, 1977 <br />There lias been no additional input from the Primus's as of this date. The redraft <br />of the proposed ordinance dated June 30, 1977, includes a provision for the <br />operator to provide a certificate of insurance at a very late date (after license <br />approval - just prior to operational permit issuance). This change \>as made after <br />discussion with Richard Primus with the intent of reducing his insurance costs <br />while retaining adequate public safeguards. <br />COUNCIL MELTING - August 8, 1977 <br />Lee and Richard Primus were present. Tlie Council informed tliem a Conditional Use <br />Permit application for Phase 2 would be required before licensing of Phase 2 could <br />be considered. Informed the Primus's that previous conditional use application was <br />void because conditions were not met at the time the previous application was <br />approved. Lee Primus agreed to make new application for conditional use permit. <br />The Primus's were asked if they had any comiiK)nts regarding the new ski ordinance. <br />Tliey said they would leave the ordinance writing up to Council. <br />COUNCIL MFdrriNG - September 12, 1977 <br />Public hearing called.
