He further stated that <br />tiicy have asked for further information and will pass <br />same along to the City. Tire applicant was not present <br />and no additional information had been given to staff. <br />Guthrie moved, llassel seconded, to table this matter <br />pending further receipt of information from the applicant. <br />Nfotion - Ayes C.5), Nays (0). <br />Mr. Olson explained that the City was notified by some <br />neighbors that some grading had been taking place without <br />a permit. Tire City inspector went out and stopped the <br />work. Some extensive recontouring at the shoreline <br />involving the removal of some trees and grading into <br />the water. There was some piles of dirt in the water <br />and the burton's were instructed to pull this back out <br />of the water. <br />The applicant was not present. After some discussion, <br />llassel moved, Ilurr seconded, to recommend tliat Council <br />instruct Staff to tag the property and that the owner <br />be advised to submit a plan for riprapping and land­ <br />scaping including tree replacement. Motion - Ayes (5), <br />Nays (0). <br />Mr. Olson stated that tlie applicant is requesting permission <br />to construct a "sports court" in an area which has been <br />defined by the City as wetlands. The survey map shows <br />a dotted line area which is the area on the County map <br />designated as wetlands. <br />Mr. Carlson was present, lie stated tliat they would like <br />to move 10 ft. straight toward tlie pool so that it comes <br />off the property line.
