Page 2
Phillip Itykstra
3080 North Shore Drive
Subdivision
PLANNING OMISSION MEETING - April 5, 1976
The Cononission recommended to the Council approval of the final plat of the
Registered Land Survey of Phillip Dykstra with stipulation added to Ae plat ^at
no easement be granted from Lot B to the lake, if this pro^dure is ®
correct by the City legal staff, and any other procedure advised by the legal
staff that woule ensure this provision and also, that approval be subject to
payment of the Park Dedication Fee.
COUNCIL MEETING - April 12, 1976
The Council approved the Final Plat.subject to payment of $2,000 park dedication
fee.
STAFF - July 18, 1977
This final plat was previously approved by Council on April 12, 1976.
resolution and plat have been signed, but no one ever paid the park dedication
fee so as to satisfy all the conditions of the resolution for proper recording.
I have heard nothing from the applicant, Mr. Dykstra, since that tune. Just
recently, Mr. Reardon, a recent purchaser of the property, resubmitted mylars
and hardshells of the original plat as approved. Copies of the preliminary and
final plats are enclosed as well as copies of the Planning Commission and Council
minutes and the resolution approving the previous final plat.
Since the process was never completed, I believe it should go back to both
Planning Commission and Council for approval.
Mr. Reardon does have a tendency to twist instructions and directions.
Remember, the previous approval was given subject to no lake access easement be
given for Lot B.
