Hassel moved, <br />Hosfield seconded, that staff notify applicant by <br />certified letter advising that if we do not hear <br />from tliem we would assume they have abandoned the <br />application and would take action. <br />Motion “ Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />Applicant is request variance for an addition of ^ <br />enclosed porch to the rear of their house. Addition <br />would not encroach on any existing setbacks. Variances <br />are required for lot area and the existing front set­ <br />back. <br />After brief discussion, Hosfield moved, Guthrie seconded, <br />to recommend approval on the basis that all setback <br />requirements are met. <br />Motion - Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />A public hearing was scheduled for ^fonday, July 18, 1977, <br />at 7:45 p.m. <br />Mr. Home was present. He is requesting approv'al of a <br />screen p>or(Ji addition to his home. Addition would meet <br />all setbacks including the 75 ft. lakeshore setback. <br />However, proposed porch and existing home are set closer <br />to the lake than the neighbors homes, particularly the <br />neighbor to the south.
