LAKE MINNETONKA CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />March 1* 1993 <br />TOt Fee Study Subcommittee <br />FROM:Board of Directors <br />SUBJECT:Outline Recommended for the Purpose and <br />Identification of Multiple Dock Related Activities <br />for the Fee Study Subcommittee <br />PURPOSE. This subcommittee will serve to identify tasks <br />and activities associated with multiple dock licensing. <br />Tasks identified will be evaluated as to the appropriate <br />level of lake density impact to multiole dock licenses. The <br />subcommittee responsibilities will be performed in <br />consultation with representatives appointed by the licensed <br />multiple dock operators. Multiple dock related activities <br />sre recognized as a contributing factor of the District's <br />responsibility in managing and controlling lake density and <br />lake use issues. <br />MULTIPLE DOCK RELATED ACTIVITIES. The following are <br />xamples of the type of activities associated with multiple <br />docks > <br />1. Enforcing Code requirements to assure all dock <br />installations comply with multiple dock license <br />2. <br />provisions. <br />Processing ci annual license renewals from initial <br />preparation, mailing, examination upon response. <br />presentation for committee and board review. <br />approval and administrative processing for swarding <br />of license renewal.
