Gerhardson, Public Works Director <br />November 17. 1993 <br />SUBJECT: Underground Tank Removal - Soils Repon <br />As a result of an analysis of the soils under and near the underground tanks at the old City office <br />site, we have been advised of the following: <br />1. The contamination does not appear to go any deeper than we have dug so far. <br />2. An additional six soil borings will be done to determine how broad the <br />contaminated soils are from the location ot the unleaded tank and one diesel tank. <br />3. The six additional soil borings will be done on November 22nd or 23rd. <br />I hope to have an up-to-date cost report to hand deliver at the November 22, 1993 Council <br />meeting.
