Finance Director ' <br />\ <br />DATE:November 19, 1993 <br />SUBJECT: Call 1980 Bonds <v-'V <br />Attachments: Letter from Ehlers 11/18/93 <br />Notice of Call for 1980 Bonds <br />Resolution Calling for Redemption of 1980 Bonds <br />The Council has authorized staff to proceed with the call of the 1980 Bonds so that the residual <br />fund» of that fund can be used to assist in payment of the 1989 debt service. To that end we <br />have requested from Carolyn Drude of Ehlers a form of resolution and the notice of call for <br />redemption of the 1980 Bonds. The attached letter describes the necessary procedure to follow <br />regarding this action. <br />Requested Action: Authorization to call 1980 bonds by adoption of resolution and council <br />direction of staff to publish notice of call. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by seconded by to adopt Resolution Calling For <br />the Redempticm of the General Obligation Bonds of 1980. and to staff to publish the Notice of <br />Call for Redemption of the 1980 Bonds.
