The land was classified as non­ <br />conservation land on Non-Conservation Classification List 799-NC by Resolution No. 93-10-816 of <br />the Board of Hennepin County Commissioners, adopted 10-12-93, a copy of which is enclosed. <br />The described parcels were declared forfeited to the state of Minnesota by the Hennepin county <br />auditor pursuant to Minnesota statutes providing for the forfeiture of real property for non-payment <br />of taxes. <br />Pursuant to M.S. 282.01 we request that vour city council either approve the oarceKs) for public <br />auction, auction to adjacent owners if M.S. 282.01. subd. 7a is apolicableiunbuildabie lots), or <br />request a conveyance to vour oovernmental subdivision for public use, The land mav be withheld <br />from auction for one year bv filing a written application with the County Board through this <br />department. Please be advised that if the city council fails to respond within ninety (90) davs of <br />this request for classification, that the sale of the lands shall be deemed to be approved pursuant, to <br />M S. 282.01. Subd. 1. <br />The county requires that a certified copy of the resolution of the governing body of the <br />governmental subdivision be submitted to authorize any requested action. If you request <br />conveyance to your governmental subdivision, please complete and submit the form “Application <br />by a Governmental Subdivision for Conveyance of Tax Forfeited Land* for each parcel of land <br />requested. Conveyance to governmental subdivisions for public purposes is subject to the <br />recommendation of the County Board, except as provided in M.S. 282.01, Subd. 1b (targeted <br />neignborhood lands).
