Sec. 10.301(f) of the Uniform <br />Tire Code is amended to read: <br />Sec. 10.301. (f) Approval and Testing. All fire alarm <br />systems, fire hydrant systems, fire-extinguishing systems <br />(including automatic sprinklers), wet and dry standpipes, <br />basement inlet pipes, and other fire-protection systems and <br />appurtenances thereto shall meet the approval of the chief as to <br />installation and location and shall be subject to periodic tests <br />required by the chief. Plans and specifications shall be <br />submitted to the chief for review and afr>toval before <br />installation. <br />Subp. 4. Sec. 10.309(b). Sec. 10.309(b) of the Uniform <br />Fire Code is amended to read: <br />Sec. 10.309. (b) Where Required. Standpipe systems shall <br />be provided as set forth in Table No. 1C.309 and shall have a <br />constant water supply and pressure. <br />EXCEPTION: Dry standpipes may be installed with prior <br />approval of the chief. <br />Subp. 5. Table No. 10.309. Table No. 10.309, Item No. 2, <br />"Occupancy" column, of the Uniform Fire Code is amended to read: <br />TABLE NO. 10.309. Item No. 2, "Occupancy" column: <br />Occupancies 3 stories or more but less t.han ISO feet in height, <br />except Group R, Division 3.
