Therefore, it is a valid fire lane. This memo is <br />intended to clarify our policy. <br />Our policy will be: <br />yC No officer shall park a squad car <br />in the fire lane once it is marked <br />as described in the letter from A;o <br />Lyle Oman to John O'Sullivan dated/ ) <br />8-31-93. ^ / <br />(^Officers shall give verbal warnings <br />to any driver who has parked in the <br />fire lane. <br />^2) Tickets will be issued only in <br />response to a request from an <br />employee of O'Sullivans for an <br />unattended vehicle which was left <br />in the fire lane. <br />Or, officers may issue a ticket if <br />a citizen refuses to move the vehicle <br />after they have received the verbal <br />warning and request by the officer <br />to move it.
