The contract includes "not to exceed" budget <br />numbers for the police department for 1995 and 1996 that would <br />allow for a 4% increase in expenditures each of the two years. The <br />contract also provides that if one of the other contract cities <br />drops out of the joint agreement within the three year period, the <br />other contract cities have the opportunity to also drop out or <br />renegotiate the agreement. <br />I will be discussing the contract with the Long Lake Mayor on <br />Monday morning to ensure the language is finalized for Council's <br />approval.
