Massopust, 440 Brown Road South <br />Conditional Use Permit - Public Hearing <br />Zoning District - RR-IB <br />Application - Excavate and fill to create a more suitable water <br />fowl pond from existing pond - not a designated wetland. <br />List of Exhibits <br />Exhibit A - <br />Exhibit B - <br />Exhibit C - <br />Exhibit D - <br />Exhibit E - <br />Pertinent Facts: <br />Application/Letter of Request/Agreement <br />Plat Map <br />Property Owners List <br />Excavation/Pill Plans <br />Survey/TopographyA^etland Airphoto Overlay <br />This is not a designated wetland. <br />Existing pond is a low area that holds water, apparently <br />more this year than in other years, as indicated by <br />inundated trees at perimeter, but no cattails. <br />It is possible that pond outlet may have previously existed <br />but was filled in somewhat by excess material when private <br />road was built. <br />Pond is at very high point in Lake Minnetonka watershed, has <br />insignificant value as storage or nutrient retention area by <br />virtue of a fairly small influent watershed. <br />Proposal to excavate and fill indicates there will not be an <br />overflow outlet, hence design is to capture and hold the <br />entire current runoff inflow - this will actually be a <br />benefit to the Lake Minnetonka watershed.
