This porch was noted on the permit as being 40' from "wetlands". Durdas bought the property after 1982, and were given permission, by the Building Department, to create 3* wide "catwalks" or balconies along the perimeter of the porch and at bedroom to allow for safety of the existing walk-out doors off the porch and bedroom (doors had been constructed to open into thin air). — Spring 1986 — Mrs. Durda had the existing 72 s.f. concrete patio removed, and replaced with 144 s.f. wood deck, without permits. - Deck and stairs are about 25* from edge of pond, old patio was about 30-35* from pond.
