The 60-day review deadline will expire on March 2, 2024. <br />3.Background: <br />The applicant is proposing to raise the roof by approximately 1 foot in order to update insulation <br />and adhere to energy code. The applicant is also proposing an addition on the lakeside of the home <br />underneath an existing deck. The proposal also includes two new deck stairs. These elements <br />require a variance from the average lakeshore setback as the existing home is nonconforming with <br />the average lakeshores setback line bisecting the home. <br />4.Staff Recommendation: <br />Staff finds that the request is modest and is supported by practical difficulty.
