Zoning File #1048 & #1049 July 17, 1986 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />Parking <br />Parking has been provided for existing building, <br />is not required for proposed structure.Additional parking <br />Loading Facilities <br />The proposed accessory structure is designed as a loading facility <br />and storage area therefore the following items have been reviewed <br />pursuant to Orono Municipal Ccdo Section 10.50 Subd. 5 H <br />1)Amoui^ Required - The existing structure has a loading facility <br />which IS located on the east side of the structure - its main purpose <br />IS for unloading raw materials and shipping finished materials. The <br />proposed structure will be used for both loading of waste materials to <br />be transported and unloading some raw materials. The added loading <br />facilities is needed for the operation of the principle use. <br />2)Dggj-gn - The design of this type of use includes traffic patterns <br />of the transport vehicles. The traffic pattern will be through the <br />parking lot. The vehicles used to pick up waste are approximately 30' <br />long and will cause no problems. <br />2).Location “ The proposed facility is located at the rear of the <br />principal structure and will not encroach on required setbacks. The <br />berth is separated from off street parking by a fence. <br />Access: <br />Access to the property is existing, and will not change. Access to <br />the proposed accessory structure is through the parking lot which is <br />allowed by Orono codes. <br />Landscaping: <br />In talking with Mr. Pallansch, the proposed structure will be cleaning <br />up a storage area which has been an eye sore in the past, and <br />^ past violation of the City Ordinance (Orono Ord. 10.60 <br />subd. 14 Waste Materials). Exterior storage of pallets should be <br />screened form the public. <br />Building Plans: <br />Zi£2£ ~ A floor plan has been provided (Exhibit G) it reflects <br />somewhat how the structure will be used. <br />Elevarti^i^ - Are provided (Exhibit F) applicant is requesting a <br />variance in the material used on the exterior. Orono Ordinance <br />require that all structures and additions be of the same material as <br />the principal structure (Orono Ord. 10.50 Subd. (5) F 2. <br />The applicant is asking if he can use a finished metal instead of <br />brick/concrete block etc.finish which is used on the principal <br />structure. <br />Building Code Plan Review <br />Per Appendix E the structure will <br />system.be required to have a sprinkler
