p <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD MAY 27, 1986BIG ISLAND* <br />LOT AREA VARIANCES <br />RESOLUTION #1997 - #2002 <br />It was moved by CounciImember Frahm, seconded by <br />CounciImember Hammerel, to adopt the following <br />Resolutions approving Lot Area Variances for properties <br />on Big Island: <br />Resolution #1997-Record Lot No. 11, V. William Melin <br />Resolution #1998-Record Lot No. 28, J.W. Vanderhoof <br />Resolution #1999-Record Lot No. 41, Scriver/Burch <br />Resolution #2000-Record Lot No. 36, Stephen O'Gara <br />Resolution #2001-Record Lot No. 40, D.W. Pratt <br />Resolution #2002-Record Lot No. 14, D.J. Kilbane <br />Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />MAYOR'S REPORT <br />Mayor Butler had r.jthing to report at this time. <br />CABLE TV REPORT <br />There was no Cable TV Report at this time. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />B 'S POINT PETITION <br />City Administrator Bernhardson reported on a petition <br />regarding construction noise o*> Bohn's Point related to <br />the Ulrich construction. <br />It was moved by Counci 3 member Hammerel, seconded by <br />Mayor Butler, to accept staff's information related to <br />the petition presented by the residents on Bohn's Point. <br />Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />I <br />ED LEHMAN - NOTICE OP CLAIM <br />City Administrator Bernhardson reported on the claim for <br />* water installation from Mr. Ed Lehman and after <br />reviewing the matter, staff's recommendation is that the <br />City has no liability in this matter. <br />Ed Lehman was present and explained his recollection of <br />the conversation with Public Works Coordinator <br />Gerhardson and stated that the City should stand behind <br />an employee's statement. <br />Due to the fact that there was an apparent <br />misunderstanding and that the bill is a year and a half <br />overdue, it was moved by CounciImember Grabek, seconded <br />by CounciImember Adams, to authorize payment of up to <br />$500 (staff to determine amount and contact Mr. Lehman). <br />Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0.
