This report represents <br />the future plans for the development and operation of the park. <br />It was adopted by the Board of Park District Commissioners of <br />the Suburban Hennepin Regional Park District on November 7, 1985. <br />We would like it to be reviewed by the City of Orono and to <br />receive concept approval so that we may continue with more <br />detailed planning and ultimately the development of the <br />facilities described here. <br />Based on earlier conversations with you, I understand that the <br />plan will need to go before the Orono Planning Commission and <br />perhaps the Park and Recreation Commission for review, before <br />consideration by the City Council.Please advise us as to the <br />schedule of meetings that you would like us to appear at and <br />as to any additional information that might be useful to the <br />City in its review.We have also enclosed a Noerenberg Memorial <br />County Park Master Plan map. <br />It is the Park District's desire to receive approval for the <br />plan in total, although it will not be developed in one phase. <br />Once approval has been received,we will develop the necessary <br />financing and specific s.te plan to proceed to construction. <br />We anticipate that the total plan will be developed over a <br />number of years, however, it is important that the entire <br />concept be approved now, so that we can proceed with our <br />planning in an orderly fashion. <br />We look forward to hearing from you as to the schedule of <br />presentations to the City of Orono. <br />Sincerely, <br />Marty Jeasei <br />Associate Superintendent <br />Enclosures;Report and Map
