Public Works Director <br />/- <br />yt <br />% <br />% <br />% <br />September 16, 1993 V <br />SUBJECT: Fall Cleanup <br />The City ofOrono Public Works Depamiv-nt will be conducting a fall cleanup day on Saturday. <br />October 16, 1993 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p m. <br />The collection site will be at the storage yard behind the Public Works Building at 2700 Kelley <br />Parkway. <br />The following items will not be accepted: <br />recyclable items such as newspaper, corrugated cardboard, tin, aluminum cans. <br />and plastic bottles with a neck <br />chemicals <br />brush, leaves or grass <br />truck loads <br />The following items will be accepted for a fee: <br />Appliances <br />TVs and stereos <br />Tires <br />Construction material <br />$8.00 <br />$7.00 <br />$2.00 <br />$ 12.00/Cubic yard <br />Constructi(m materials consist of. but are not limited to. concrete, lumber, doors, moldings, <br />boards, landscape timbers, sheetrvKk, tile, fences, dock sectiems, etc. An average pickup or <br />two-wheel trailer holds 3 cubic yards which will cost $36.00. liach load may be measured to <br />determine actual cost. The company accepting the construction material will have personnel on <br />the site to determine cost and collect the monies. <br />Orono residents only!
