Luesse - 3249 Casco Circle <br />The variance for a new garage, approved on December 14. 1992, contains <br />the following finding: <br />The proposed garage addition to the accessory structure <br />shall not encroach further into the side yard than the existing <br />structure at' <br />My previous request, and your approval, was based on a property survey <br />which showed the existing accessory structure to have a 3’ side yard. A <br />new survey reveals that the accessory structure has a 2.4' side yard. <br />To comply with a 3' side yard would result in a 7 inch offset along the <br />north wall of the two buildings, and would cause the new garage and <br />walk to be that much closer to mature plantings, including a 9 "Birch <br />tree. Since I believe the variance approval intended to require that the <br />side yard be the same as the existing accessory building, I hereby request <br />the variance approval be revised to read: <br />The proposed garage addition to the accessory structure <br />shall not encroach further into the side yard than the existing <br />structure at 2.4’. <br />Copies of the original and new survey are enclosed for your review. <br />Sincerely. <br />R.
