Benson:
As we discussed in our telephcno conversation on December 2, 1991, you
have replaced an existing deck without first getting a building
permit. The 1989 survey of your property shows the deck toward the
lake to bo much smaller than the new replacement. That survey also
shows you have hardcov^er in the 75'-250' lake setback zene.
To get a building permit for these decks oi any new construc;tion, you
will need to reduce hardcover in this zone to 25% or obtain a variance
for excess hardcover. This is the same problem encountered when you
applied for a garage addition in 1988.
I am enclosing a building permit application and also a zoning
variance application. Please have the variance application completed
by noon on December 27th for consideration at the January meeting of
the Planning Commission. If you have questions, contact me for help
with the building permit or Michael Gaffron for help with the zoning
variance.
Ginpercly ,
Ucl
BRUCK VANG
Field Inspector
BV/ch
inne.
(y
