TO! <br />FROM: <br />DATE: <br />Mayor and City Council <br />Ron Moorae, City Administrator <br />September 10, 1993 <br />SUBJECT: Proposal Regarding Residential Development on <br />Southwest Corner of Willow and County Road 6 <br />* \ <br />I have had informal discussions with the CounciImembers about a <br />proposal by Lundgren Brothers Construction for a residential <br />development on‘ approximately 60 acres on the southwest corner of <br />Wxllow and County 6. The proposal is to develop the property at 1 <br />acre per unit. The property is currently zoned for 2 acre per unit <br />development. I recently received a preliminary layout giving a <br />general sense of how they would plan to develop the area. This <br />layout is attached for Council review. Several Councilmet bers have <br />indicated their initial reaction to rezoning of the property as a <br />negative one, other members indicated they would be willing to <br />consider a proposal. I would like to discuss this specific <br />preliminary layout with the CounciImembers to determine whether <br />their reaction is positive or negative.
