<br />Any person who violates the provisions of this

<br />SEPARABILITY
<br />Every section, provision, or part of this ordinance is
<br />declared separable from every' other section, provision, or
<br />part: and if any section, pnnision. or part thereof shall he

<br />provision, or part.
<br />PROHIBITION
<br />It shall he unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation
<br />to remove, fill, or use for fill, dredge, store, or excavate
<br />rock, sand, gravel, dirt, or similar material within the
<br />limit s of the village of Orono; to fill or reclaim any land by

<br />PERMIT .
<br />An application lor such permit shall be accompanied by
<br />a lirawing made by a registered surveyor or other
<br />competent piT.son showing the location of the propn.sfd
<br />e.xcavation or storage and shall state the amount of
<br />material which is to he removed, excavated, stored, filled,
<br />or graded, and such other information as the council may
<br />rei|uire from lime to time. Applications shall he filed with
<br />the Villagt Administrator ami shall Ik* accompanied by a
<br />fee of SIO payable to the village.
<br />EXCEPTION
<br />The requirements of (this ordinancel are not intenue.. to
<br />govern the normal and customary grading in the area of an
<br />e.xisling ora new’ly constructed huildiiig, or the grading of
<br />the driveway serving such building. Such grading am.
<br />earth moving shall he approved by the building inspector
<br />at the time of issuance of the building permit, providing
<br />that a plan .showing proper drainage and protection of
<br />adjoining property has been submitted. Any unusual
<br />filling or removal of grading shall be referred by the
<br />building inspector to the planning commission and village
<br />council for action in accordance with this ordinance.

<br />'I’his ordinance shall he reviewed two years from Us
<br />efteetivedate liy tlu* council. At that time the council shall
<br />review any development plans and studies of the planning
<br />commission and laws and ordinances of other
<br />governmental bodies which have reference to the fiolkies
<br />and subject matter of this ordinance, and the council shall
<br />consider whether amendments to the provisions of this
<br />ordinance can be made consistent with its purposes.
<br />WETLANDS ORDINANCE OF DARTMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS
<br />INTERPRETATION AND APPLICATION
