Motion, Ayes "(3) <br />Ways (0). <br />Henry Muhich, Building & Zoning Administrator, <br />reported to the City Council that Rod IlcCharles <br />ovms the building v;hich was recently occupied <br />by the Lumber Mart. This area is zoned B-4 <br />(Business & Professional) which prohibits over- <br />the -counter type operations as permitted in the <br />B-1 and B-3 zones. <br />The building is now vacant and Mr. McCharles has <br />had several lease proposals from parties for uses <br />not permitted in the area. Mr. McCharles will <br />appear for the meeting to discuss the matter. <br />Planning Commission - February 2, 1976 <br />Hr. McCharles requested what procedure might be <br />necessary for approval of commercial (over-the- <br />counter sales type operation) in recently B-4 <br />zoned area at 3502 Shoreline Drive. <br />This building was recently vacated by the <br />Lumber Hart. <br />He was informed that several uses he had proposed <br />would not be permitted in this zone (pool hall <br />and game table operations, restaurant, plant <br />sales, auto parts, etc.). He suggested several <br />other uses which v;ould be permitted in the B-4 <br />zone - municipal use, banking, and architect <br />office.
