approved the appointment of Roger Kramer as a part**time <br />science teacher at Orono Middle School; <br />approved the appointment of Jane Kipling as a second <br />grade teacher at Schumann Elementary School; <br />accepted the resignation of Ronald E. Gilbert, Schumann <br />Elementary principal, effective June 30, 1993; <br />accepted the resignation of Jack Watters, District <br />psychologist, effective June 30, 1993; <br />accepted the resignation of Catherine Quady, <br />paraprofessional at Schumann Elementary School, effective <br />June 30, 1993; <br />approved the appointment of Connie Fladeland as principal <br />of Schumann Elementary School effective July 1, 1993; <br />approved continued membership in E.C.S.U.for the 1993>94 <br />school year; <br />approved continued membership in AMSD for the 1993-94 <br />school year; <br />approved continued membership in the Minnesota State High <br />School League according to the following resolution: <br />STATE HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE RESOLUTION ON FILE IN DISTRICT <br />OFFICE <br />- adopted the following Pupil Staff Ratio Policy for the <br />1993-94 school year: <br />PUPIL STAFF RATIO POLICY ON FILE lA DISTRICT OFFICE <br />agreed to participate ir Chapter I and authorize an LEA <br />representative and a contact person in conjunction with <br />the District Advisory Committee and School Advisory <br />committees of the District to execute and file <br />application for the school district and to otherwise act <br />as authorizfd representatives in all Chapter I related <br />activities; <br />declared its intention to develop projects which expand <br />and improve the educational programs of the District, and <br />said Board authorized Dr. Thomas B. Mich, Superintendent <br />of Schools or his designee, to execute and file <br />application for and in behalf of the school district, and <br />otherwise to act as its authorized representative in <br />sta.j and federally funded programs and the Board <br />de*' iared its intention to comply with all of the <br />requirements set forth in the "Applicant Statement of <br />Assurances." <br />designated the Assistant Superintendent as the <br />administrator to review all collateral obtained from <br />finanr-lal institutions to cover investments and bank <br />deposits; <br />directed the Superintendent to approve teacher contracts <br />from July 1, 1993 to September 13, 1993 in order to help <br />assure a full component of qualified teachers for the <br />1993-94 school year; <br />accepted the bid from the lowest responsible bidder Meyer <br />Bros. Dairy for furnishing milk for the 1993-94 school
