MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING <br />HELD JULY 26, 1993 <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />(*#14) 1992 COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT <br />It was moved by Jabbour, seconded by Mayor Callahan, to accept the <br />1992 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report as submitted. Ayes 4, <br />nays 0. <br />(#15) PROPOSED FIRE CONTRACT WITH LONG LAKE UPDATE <br />Moorse reported they are working on a three-year rolling contract, <br />whereby at the end of the first year, the cities would review the <br />contract and determine if they would like it extended for another <br />year. <br />Kelley explained the proposed contract enables tne City to have an <br />ownership interest in all new equipment. <br />Jabbour expressed appreciation for the efforts in getting the <br />communities to work together. <br />Kelley suggested they return with the draft contract at the next <br />meeting. <br />(*#16) STUBBS BAY CONNECTION GRANT PROGRAM <br />It was moved by Jabbour, seconded by Mayor Callahan, to approve <br />staff's recommendation in establishing the program in two phases. <br />Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />(*#17) ASSESSMENT DEFERRAL - RESOLUTION #3311 <br />It was moved by Jabbour, seconded by Mayor Callahan, to adopt <br />Resolution #3311 approving a special assessment deferment for Patty <br />Lou Clapp. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />(*#18) NO PARKING - NORTH ARM DRIVE - RESOLUTION #3312 <br />It was moved by Jabbour, seconded by Mayor Callahan, to adopt <br />Resolution #3312 restricting parking on portions of North Arm <br />Drive. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />(#19) WATER/SBWBR RATBS UPDATE <br />No action required. Discussion on the subject was held during the <br />audit report. <br />8
