EndncerinE'Conslruction <br />Maintenancc/Public Works.1., <br />Public Safety <br />Rccrcation/Youih/Senior/Culture <br />Administration and Miscellaneous <br />The work groups, in cooperation %vith Gauncil staff will; <br />• determine the best means to measure costs, personpower and efficienev; <br />identir/ specific areas where a "value for money" study couid be valuacie in <br />providing comparability data and establishing performance benchmarks; <br />identify areas svhere cooperative efforts could be undertaken on a "fast track; <br />identify different standards and levels of service for each community; <br />produce reports in each functional area; <br />develop service delivery options with a cost analysis. <br />The Council staff will: <br />Conduct "value for money" studies to be agreed upon by the Steering <br />Committee and Metropolitan Council staff; <br />meet with each city's staff to accumulate data; <br />coordinate the efforts of the Steering Committee, advisory groups and work <br />groups; <br />aeveloD and administer a citizen satisfaction survey document whicn may be <br />utilized by the various cities to incorporate satisfaction in determining ser. <br />levels; <br />ace <br />offer technical assistance in analyzing and developing, or mediating services <br />and in implementing cooperative service delivery options chosen by t..e city <br />councils on an as needed basis. <br />3.04 Prepare Dnft Report. A draft report of the results in each of the semee areas ^th <br />recommendations wiil be prepared by Council staff in consultation vdih t e ^ .
