CITYof ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 3166_________ <br />WHEREAS, by allowing said properties to go tax forteit, <br />the property owner gives up any substantial property rignts or <br />use of raid property, and therefore the City’s refusal <br />sanitary sewer service to said Lots 3 and 4 would not y <br />property owner of a substantial property right; and <br />WHEREAS, the pa cel is unbuildable unless sewer is <br />provided or the property is attached to adjacent vacant parce <br />because of insufficient room to provide for house, well, and <br />primary and future septic system drainfields. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Orono, Minnesota that sewer service will not be <br />provided to Lots 3 and 4, Block 3, Bayside Addition to Lake <br />Mi.metonka, because the property is substandard <br />intended by its owner to be allowed ._o go tax forfe ' . , <br />adjacent uo other vacant land which will be provided with <br />municipal sewer service and to which this still <br />attached to create a single buildable si^e that, while sti <br />substandard, would more closely meet the 2 acre requirement for a <br />buildable lot than would the properties taken individually. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Minnesota on this 10th day of .August, 1992. <br />ATTEST: <br />A _ _ _ _ <br />DorothyHa11in.
