Co., MN <br />A Site Evaluation was completed on this prcperty for On-Site Sewace <br />Treatment for a 4BR home. <br />This site has an existing On-Site Sewage System located east of <br />the house. At this time effluent is surface discharging & the <br />system has failed. Soil Borings were completed indicating a <br />seasonally high water table (mottled soil' at 18’* to 30" below <br />the ground surface. To properly treat septic effluent, this <br />system should have been a Pressurized Mound System. <br />Additional Soil Borings were completed east of the system & <br />at the highest elevation west of the house & also indicated <br />mottled soil less than 36" below the ground surface and would <br />also require a Pressurized Mound System. State & local Code <br />requires the bottom of the treatment a’-oa be a minimim of 3* <br />above the highest known saturated soil (mottled soil). <br />An Approximate cost for a Pre-.urized Mound System would be from <br />$8,000.00 to $10,000.00 depending on the location. <br />5^teveu B.
