A copy of that letter is attached for your review. <br />The concerns expressed in that letter could not be adequately <br />addressed by City staff on such short notice. The neighboring <br />property owners appeared at the Planning Commission public <br />hearing on 2/J.7/87 and requested that the application be denied, <br />citing the reasons as stated in their letter. Planning <br />Commission felt it was unfair to take any action without the <br />applicant being present to address tl.ose unanticipated concerns. <br />The item was tabled until the applicant can be present. <br />Given the above tabling, it appears your application for a <br />simple variance renewal may not be as simple as we had originally <br />expected. I am scheduled to review your property with the City <br />Engineer on 2/24/87 to discuss the drainage concerns expressed. <br />The topographical survey you allude to in your application is <br />necessary to our further review of the application. It is likely <br />that if the lot area variance is approved, a number of conditions <br />would be attached, such as granting of a drainage easement and <br />upgrading of the drainageway at the southerly end of the lot. <br />Please call or stop in to discuss this matter. The next <br />Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for March 16.. 1987. <br />Please let me know if you or your designated representative can <br />attend that meeting. <br />If you desire certified copies of the official Planning <br />Commission minutes, they are available from the City Recorder <br />after review and approval by the Planning Commission. <br />j
