To remove these <br />structures and build a "tuck under" adds immeasureably to the <br />look of the property for ourselves and our neighbors. It <br />also conforms to the safety requirement with no further need <br />to back out of the garage onto the street. We are proposing <br />a double width garage. It is also our plan to build a 1st <br />level story on top of this "tuck under." <br />On the lake side of the home, we are requesting a wood deck <br />which will enable us to really utilize the lake views. This <br />wood decking will allow for seepage thru the structure into <br />a sand base. We do not intend to impede in any way the absorbtion <br />of water into the land. <br />Our current building plan is for a second story on the south <br />side of the home. Due to the fact that a portion of the <br />current structure falls within the first zone, a request for <br />variance is being requested. Total cost figures will determine <br />the final decision here. <br />In granting our request, the overall hardcover on this property <br />will be reduced by 185 square feet. <br />This home will be our permanent residence.
