Open parking spaces in R districts may be 10 feet from <br />rear and side lot lines - is this adequate for commercial parking lots <br />(remember to consider required fencing and landscaping buffer)? <br />F. The use must be subordinate or accessory <br />to the princial commercial use. The properties should be under one <br />ownership and de’^ending on configuration should be legally combined or <br />recognized under a special lot combination. The parking lot shall be for <br />the sole, temporary use of private vehicles/cars. No overnight parking <br />allowed. No parking of trucks or other motorized vehicles. Should the lot <br />meet required lot standards of the district? <br />2. Section 10.20, Subdivision 3 (D) - Conditional Use*Petnit required fo <br />all public service structures. <br />"D. Public Service structures. Public service structures, <br />including but not limited to electrical transmission lines, <br />buildings such as telephone exchange stations, booster or <br />pressure regulating stations, wells, and plumbing stations, <br />elevated tanks, lift stations and electrical power <br />substations, provided no building shall be located within <br />fifty feet from any lot line of an abutting lot in an "R" <br />District. Prior to granting such permit it shall be found <br />that the architectural design of service structures is <br />compatible to the neighborhood in which it is to be located <br />and thus will promote the general welfare."
