7. <br />8 <br />9. <br />The amendmeitt indicates miner revisions in the City's ordinances dealing with <br />on-site sewage treatment systems, resulting in even greater control over the <br />design, location, insullation, and operation of on-si e sewage treatment systems. <br />The amendment (temonstrates that Orono's current controls over septic systems <br />meet or exceed the Metropolitan Council requirements for allowing niral densities <br />in excess of four units per forty acres. <br />The City’s plan of action to reduce inflow and infiltration problems within <br />existing City sewage facilities is described. <br />The amendment reiterates that Orono’s Comprehensive Sewer Policy Plan is <br />consistent with Metropolitan Planning goals; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to legal notice the Orono Planning Commission held a <br />public hearing on October 15 and November 19, 1990 to received public comments regarding <br />_ ^ . t a ________.
