Box 72 <br />Crystal Bay, MN 55323 <br />Re: Crystal Bay Road <br />Dear Council Members: <br />The Orono City staff has a proposal scheduled to be <br />presented to the Council at the September 28, 1988 meeting, <br />regarding Crystal Bay Road. This same proposal was previously <br />presented to the Orono Planning Commission. At the presentation <br />several residents requested that the Planning Commission consider <br />closing the Crystal Bay Road, rather than repairing it. The <br />Planning Commission directed the staff to work with the residents <br />regarding such a proposal. The staff considered the matter and <br />opposed closing the road, primarily because of the lack of room <br />for a cul—de—sac. Nevertheless, the affected property owners <br />believe such a proposal is workable and would benefit all <br />residents of Crystal Bay Road.
