In response to Shawn D. Gustafson's <br />recommendations to you in a letter dated April 6, 1993 we <br />have modified the plan to include the engineer's <br />recommendations: <br />A silt fence will be installed along the perimeter of the shoreline prior to <br />any construction to protea the lake from erosion. The fill soil will be a <br />granular material. <br />A system of duckbill anchors will be set into the existing soil <br />bank and tied to a series of pipes for the miragrid to be <br />attached to anchor it to the side slope. <br />In addition to the American Excelsior Tutf reinforcement we <br />will plant Crown Vetch to prevent future erosion. <br />Riprap is already present along the property shoreline and <br />since the proposed restoration is above the 929.4 elevation <br />Ellen Klanderman of the Minnehaha Creek Watershed Distria <br />said then typB of pBrttiit isfi t nBcesscry^
