Building & Zoning Administrator <br />May 4. 1993 <br />#1807 Susan Marie Sumey, 1330 Cherry Place <br />Conditional Use/Variance - Resolution <br />Additkmal Exhibits <br />J Applicant’s Addendum <br />K - Amended Land Alteration Plan <br />Brief Reriew of AppUcation <br />The application involves major land alterations within the lakeshore yard involving filling <br />and grading activities to restore and prevent further erosion of the steep lakeshore ba^. The <br />original restoration plan was reviewed by the City Engineer, Exhibit G. The original plan <br />lacked a substruemre needed to support and sustain the layers of geo-grid fabric. <br />The amended plan, Exhibit K, has been reviewed by Gustofson and found to meet all of <br />the installation criteria set forth by tlK lanufacturer and as recommended by the City Engineer. <br />The restoration project will involve no hardcover within the lakeshore yard as all the fabric and <br />support structure will be covered with earth. <br />Lots 1 and 2 have not been legally combined. The applicant has agreed to legally <br />combine the two parcels. The resolution has included the required legal combination as a <br />condition of approval. <br />planning Commission Recommendation <br />The Planning Commission recommended unanimous approval of the amended land <br />alteration proposal. The enclosed approval resolution has been drafted per the findings and <br />conditions of the Planning Commission approval. <br />Please review the Planning Commission minutes of April 19th and the enclosed Planning <br />Commission packet for more detail and background on this review.
