Stiuenire is also located 33 ’ in front of the principal structure requiring variance <br />approval. <br />Dcacriptioo of Request <br />The propose the installation of a 60’xl20 ’ tennis court to be kx^ in the <br />northwest comer of the property. This structure will be located 17’ frorn the street side lot line, <br />33 ’ from the west side lot line, and will also be placed in from of the principal structure located <br />at die required 50’ setback. 1 tennis court behind the from line of the principal structure <br />would require extensive land alteration and tree removal which would severely reduce the buffer <br />between the applicants' home and the residence to the immediate south. <br />The variance, if approved, would be the first request for a non-lakeshote lot owner or <br />lakeshore lot owner to insuU an accessory stnicture within the street yard. The proposed <br />improvemern does not appear to be consu'ent with the current pattern of developrnem within the <br />Farview neighborhood. <br />Due the proximity of the proposed tennis court to the alternate drainfield site, the <br />applicants were asked to provide additional soil testing information to im^te that the 20’ <br />required setback could be maintained.
