I am enclosing a copy of City of Orono <br />variance Resolution No. 1212 dated October 14,1980, which resolution limits this joint use dock <br />to three slips. Periiaps you were not aware of this limitation. <br />Rather your application on to the Council with a recommendation for denial, I wanted <br />to give you the opportunity to revise it to meet the three-sUp requirement. Alternatively, if you <br />wish to pursue approval of the fourth slip, this would be an amendment to Resolution No. 1212 <br />and would require a new variance application. <br />You should also be aware that the fourth slip may trigger an LMCD review. I am advised by <br />LMCD staff that your 130’ shoreline width would not qualify for a fourth slip. <br />Please review this with the Enlows and the Lauers. and advise me as soon as possible how you <br />wish to proceed. <br />Sincerely, <br />Michael P.
