Amateur radio is a vital link to state side for <br />many 'ssels Mr. Truchinski has volunteered to be one of the links In <br />relaying messages between our yacht, wherever we may be. and my family in <br />Minnesota <br />we are in what Is called the bottom of an eleven year sun spot cycle in the <br />next few years receiving and transiHiiting signals reliably depends on <br />having the most optimum antennas Gregs antenna is called a TH7DX, one of <br />the best commercial antennas avall^le. with his antenna and operator <br />skills, we hope to have many good conversations with Greg, and through a <br />device called a phone patch, we also at times, will be able to talk directly <br />with my family in Minnesota. This involves a considerable amount of <br />dedication in monitoring the radio on a scheduled basis. <br />Therefore i highly recommend the approval of the permit for Mr. Greg <br />Truchinski ’s antenna.
