The County is concerned with the reduction of the right of way and is now asking for a minimum of 84V Cook said 84' is necessary for the dear-zone width required by State law in order to clear trees and poles After much discussion, it was agreed upon to allow the County 84' for the right-of-way The Council and County will then need to discuss the specifics of the plans and funds involved The County had scheduled a meeting with Independence, and Orono residents were notified by letter of this.
