At one point in the process the city received information that the <br />former owner of the property had applied to redeem the property. The council directed staff to <br />continue to pursue the property. <br />At this time the County has indicated there are no former owners of the property who are <br />eligible to redeem the property. This clears the way for the city to acquire the property for park <br />purposes.
