MN 55356
Telephone: Home*
Office-
476^19
476-5296
Suliject:Activities to be performed at the pro
Brown Road, L^ Lake.
t1 Garage Building, located at 650 North
I, Wanon Gamtl, own and operair Warren Garreil Lawn Cam, my service has bm operating for eight
years. In the previous years I operated from 4016 Brunswick Avenue, St. Louis Park, for one year;
foM 16115 Lake Street Extension, Minoetonka. for four years; and from 5232 Mkhaele Lane,
hfinnnnnki, for one yean all of whkh are in ”R” districts. At those three locatioiu I operated my
business without a home occupation license; and I had no problems or comiMaints with my neighbors.
For the last year and one4ialf until the present. I’ve operated from 2285 Daniels Street, Long Lake, fw
Stonge of equipment. All offioe duties and lelephotie communications with my customers, for this
period, have been pc^onned from my home located at 650 North Brown Road, Long Lake. Warm
Quiult Lnum Care performs its services on the site of its customers. In a normal year the operation
includes: Lawn care from April * November and snow removal from November - March. Also, lam
a 1/3 partner in Long t^fce Power Equipment which is presently located at 2235 Daniels Street, Long
Lake, but is sdheduled to move before the end of 1994, to 2065 West Wayzata Blvd. Long Lake.
I am proposing oonstnictioa of a 1600 sq.ft, garage on our property that will be used for Mo^e of boUi
personal items and off-season equipment for my Lawn Service. The garage building will be
archilectuialJy styled like our home (Exhibit A) which wUl not be visible from North Brown Road. The
devatkm of the garage will be twenty feet The garage will have six foot or larger spruce trees planted
around three sides of the building to give year-round screening.
To help limit activity at the garage, I have purchased a Father-light 28 ’ enclosed aluminum trailer
(Exhibit C) to carry in-season equipment. The trailer will be stored year around at Long Lake Power
Equipment Each change of season wiU require this trailer to come to the garage and be loaded with
the stored lawn equipment and moved back to Long Lake Power equipment. The lawn service’s daily
operations will be conducted from that site during the summer season of April - November. My
employaes will assemble and park their vehicles at that location. From time to time, myself or one
of my employaes may be required to come to the garage to repair or pick-up a piece of equipment that
is not used on a daily basis. My office operations will continue from the main dwelling.
During the winter-season, the garage Interior will store my truck (exhibit B), and all of my summer
power equipment. Also, during the winter season I perform snow removal services for some of my
• customers. We perform tius s^ice when it snows 2* or more, which has averaged 10 snowfalls per
winter. That eperation would aitail two employees meeting me at the garage for snow removal. They
will park their vehicles inside the garage for the duration of the snow removal penod.
My personal truck (Exhibit D) is also used for my business. Due to its length, it does not fit in our
garage and will be parked beside the main house garage.
