The existing deck
is 26’ in front of the average lakeshore setback line. The intensification of structure located 6.5’
from side lot line requires approval of a side setback variance.
The City has received no negative comments from the neighbors to either the north or
south. The :>tnicture will have a minimal impact on the residence to the south side. The
residence to the north will not see the porch as it is located at applicant’s southeast side of the
residence completely out of the view of the residence of the property to the north.
The T’esidence was constnicted prior to the current lakeshore/shoreland standards.
