Kahler and Erika Kahler (hereinafter “the applicants") <br />m owneis of Ite piopefty k)c«ed it 2725 Raiiiey Roid wi*iii the Chy of OroBO (hereinafter <br />“City”) and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Trees To Be, Hennepin CounQr, Minnesota (hereinafter "the prt^rty"); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br />Tnning Codc Scction 10.03, Subdivision 14 (D) to permit the construction of a 60*xl20 t^nms <br />court^t wiU located 10’ from the east side lot line where a 30’ setback is required and 10 <br />from the south rear lot line where a 30’ setback is requited. <br />Minnesott: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Councfl of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1937 <br />The property is located in the RR-IB, Rural Residemial Zoning District requiring <br />2 acres of dry contiguous lands. The subject property consbts of 2+ acres. <br />The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on June 20,1994, and <br />recommended approval of the variances as amended based upon the foUcwing <br />findings: <br />The sloping topography to the rear and west of the residence prevents <br />court from beii^ moved more to the center of the rear yard.
