City Administrator <br />John Cerhardson, Public Works Director <br />June 17, 1994 <br />SUBJECT: Post Office Parking Lot <br />During lease agreement negotiations «vith the U.S. Postal Service recently, we stated that we <br />would construct a 6-10 place parking lot for use by the post office patrons. <br />The estimated cost in 1993 was approximately $3200. Uhave added some tree planting to the <br />estimate which increases the amount by $1,340 and tree removal for $450 for a toul of $4890. <br />I have also been advised that for that zone a parking lot would require a 50 ’ setback from the <br />road. We would need to apply for a variance to construct the parking lot adjacent to the <br />building.
