r A salary figure for the provision of one officer assigned to and stationed in Spring Park 24 hours pej^ day, seven days per week shall be computed. To this salary figure will be added that percentage of the total overtime budget for all officers calculated by dividing the number of officers assigned to the City of Spring Park by the number of all officers, 88 hours holiday pay at the hourly ^at*, wearing apparel, hospitalization, life insurance, memberships, workers compensation and pensions calculated at the salary figure above. This total is then added to t.he total cost per Contract City (net of town aid) for Spring Park to determine cost of service for Spring Park for the new contract year. This procedure is illustrated in Appendix A. This co.sc will be an actual cost. It is understood that the City of Spring Park may, due to budget considerations in any contract year, at the beginning of the contract year adjust the level of officers stationed in Spring Park, in which event the City of Spring Park shall pay ail extraordinary costs as outlined in the second paragraph of Section 23 of this agreement. 15. Preliminary Budget Estimate. By August 15 of each year during which this contract remains in effect, the City of Orono will provide a budget estimate for the next contract year. 16.ron^r;.rr Payments. The final estimated costs shall be paid in equal quarterly installments on January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1 of the next contract year by the Contract Cities to the City of Orono. Orono agre to provide the Contract Cities with reasonably detailed .formation relating to its estimated expenditures and its actual expenditures so as to inform them adet^ately of the basis for the calculation of billings made y Under the provisions of this contract, Orono agrees to its records available to the Contract Cities for for the purpose of determining the basis for the calculations by Orono under the provisions of this section.
