r <br />2^ Puhlir Tmaae. The designation "Orono-Long Lake-Minnetonka <br />Beach-Spring Park Police Department" shall be affixed to all <br />marked police cars used by the Orono Police Department under <br />the terms of this agreement and the City of Orono shall cause <br />the listing for the Police Department for each Contract City <br />to be inserted in the appropriate telephone directories as may <br />distributed in the contracting cities. If another city <br />contracts with the City of Orono for service, its name may <br />also be added to the above. <br />3. of .q^rvices. The quality and level of services <br />rendered to the Contract Cities shall be the same as the <br />3eji^ices rendered to the City of Orono, except as hereinafter <br />stated. <br />A.There shall be the equivalent of two additional <br />officers, who when on duty shall be stationed within the <br />City of Long Lake. These officers will respond to all <br />necessary calls within the Contracting Cities, but their <br />priority will be the City of Long Lake. <br />B. There shall be one officer assigned to, and <br />stationed in, the City of Spring Park 24 hours per day, <br />seven days per week. The officers assigned to provide <br />such service will be physically within the city limits of <br />Spring Park at all times save for the following: <br />1.Responding to Necessary Calls which are <br />defined as calls created by immediate necessity for <br />police service, such as responding to a medical <br />emergency, a crime in progress, an officer <br />requiring immediate assistance, etc. Such calls <br />will always be a part of the communications log of <br />the Orono Police Department and the officer <br />responding will have been directed by official <br />communication to respond to the Necessary Call. <br />2 .Scheduled travel to and from the Orono Police <br />Department Offices at the beginning or end of <br />shifts, including the fueling of squad cars or <br />emergency vehicle repairs. <br />Page 3 <br />1 <br />i <br />J
