We understand <br />that we need to appear before the Planning Comnisslon, whose <br />next scheduled meeting Is June 20. Because we have a unique <br />situation, we would like to request to appear at the <br />optional meeting scheduled for June 6, or more preferably a <br />special hearing. <br />Our 05 year old home meets all the requirements for setback <br />from the lake and for hardcover. However we understand that <br />we need a variance because of line of sl^t with adjacent <br />neighbors. If you were to see the placement of the homes on <br />either side of us. It would be clear that our proposed <br />addition does not affect either one. The house to the east <br />of us will not see our addition. The house to the west of <br />vjs was built four years ago and has no windows on our side, <br />and has woods between us. <br />We purposly planned the new addition within the confines of <br />our existing structure, so as to avoid any question of field <br />of vision. Our addition will be 165' from the the neighbors <br />on the west, and 68' from our property line along the line <br />of site, and 33' from the property line at the nearest <br />point. The neighbors to the east will not see our addition. <br />Because our home was here long before the other homes, we <br />feel that we have a unique situation and would like for you <br />to see It. In addition, we have the approval of both <br />neighbors. <br />Our building plans are now on hold. We have hired our <br />builders and they await notification from you to begin.
