STROMMEN, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
June e, 1994
Mr. Gabriel Jabbeur
Tonka Bay Marina
220 Tonka Bay Road
Tonka Bay, RN 55331
Thank you, Gabriel . . •
for your generous cooperation in providing a boat
and refreshments for the LMCD board's lake
inspection tour June 7.
This experience provided board members and the two
attorneys representing LMCD legal matters a great
opportunitv to view lake sites recently or
presently under co.nsideration for dock provisions.
Similarly beneficial was the chance to view
examples of dock and lakeshore lighting. Your
demonstration of how even a 100 watt bulb can make
an undesirable intrusion over lake water was most
striking. This practical application should be
beneficial as the committee and board continue its
evaluation of how best to regulate dock structure
lighting. Hopefully guidelines appealing to the
cities will also be developed.
Oq indebted to Dean Vianos for making his
cruiser available to the board. Please share our
thanks with him. We will thank him by a personal
memo as well.
LMCD Chair Bill Johnstone joins with the entire
board in expressing our appreciation for your
considerate service on this special occasion.
sincerely,
LAKE MINNETONKA CONSERVATION DISTRICT
Xugene R.
